What We Do
Mental Health Awareness
She Soars supports and empowers those most impacted to lead efforts in changing how mental health is viewed and addressed. We engage youth and young adults as partners in the designing and distribution of tailored awareness materials.

About our Youth Ambassadors: Young people in Metro Atlanta between the ages of 14 and 22 years work together to lead health awareness efforts (planning, designing, implementation, and evaluation). Please click here to learn more about the Youth Ambassador program.
Youth Mental Health Programming
She Soars works with youth-serving organizations, faith-based institutions, and school district partners to strengthen their capacity to offer quality mental health and wellness programming and provide linkages to culturally-competent and gender-responsive resources.

She Soars also works with partners and youth ambassadors to address rising mental health issues through hosting regional stakeholder convenings to identify mental health needs and strategize culturally sensitive solutions.
Parent & Caregiver Support
Black women are socialized to be “Strong Black Women” and have historically been underdiagnosed, misdiagnosed, and undertreated for depression. She Soars utilizes an intergenerational approach that provides parents and caregivers with the tools and resources to model healthy behaviors and support our young people.
